They have a Character in the game who is essentially a child you can play as that players can just murder on site if they so choose too, and the character specializes in life skills, which is basically just Physical labor, so the devs actively promote violence on children, and Child labor, as well as predatory monetization and gambling like practices, character class the Shai.Ĭharacter outfits in the game are very revealing some outfits closing in on borderline nudity, the fact you can have your character including that child like character by the way to be able to run around in their under wear. The games community is extremely toxic, always talking about politics, always talking about sexual things with zero moderation from the Dev Team. They are certainly different than the typical skill progression mechanics of other MMORPGs, but it makes a lot of sense, especially with the level of customization that Black Desert Online provides.The Game uses very heavy monetization that is heavily revolved around gambling away items purchased with real life money, and is extremely pay to win. Everything depends on what build works for each individual playstyle and class choice, with players having an immense amount of freedom with how they play their characters.
Both the trees are viable, rather one being obviously superior to the other. Awakening weapons tend to change a class's playstyle quite a bit, so players who prefer how their character played before they swapped skill trees should check out Succession.īlack Desert Online's Awakening and Succession systems are an interesting take on similar prestige mechanics from other games. Succession is meant to be a return to familiarity for a character, allowing them to become more proficient with a class' base toolkit. Players shouldn't expect to get many new options or skills with the Succession tree, but that is the point of choosing Succession over Awakening.
